“We are delighted to have an executive of Rudy’s reputation and experience join our leadership team at Synthon,” said Dr. Lemmens. “A key part of our growth strategy involves expanding our generics business internationally, and improving our overall commercial architecture. Rudy is the ideal person to lead these efforts. He has a longstanding, proven track record of building businesses in the healthcare arena around the world. Rudy and I will work together closely to develop Synthon for the long term as I take on the chairmanship of our new non-executive board. This move not only provides Synthon with new leadership for this phase of our growth; it also allows me to focus more attention on our therapeutic R&D activities – essential for our future success.”
Most recently, Mr. Mareel served as President International and Member of the Executive Leadership Team at Cardinal Health, a global healthcare company providing products and services. “I am excited to be joining Synthon and to have the opportunity to work with a young and dynamic team to help drive future success,” said Mr. Mareel
