A young company but already a rich history. It all started in 1991 when two young chemists discovered that their love for science went perfectly with an entrepreneurial spirit. Their creative vision on generic medicines resulted in the establishment of Synthon. The success of the first product, dobutamine, led immediately to surprisingly rapid growth. Which in turn also led the way to the realisation of international ambitions. Laboratories, offices and factories were opened in the Czech Republic, the United States of America, Australia, Spain and Argentina. Synthon currently employs about 1250 people worldwide.
