Job profile

As functional application manager you will work in the IT department of Synthon Biopharmaceuticals. The department is responsible for the proper functioning of all business applications of our organization. Within the department you will be responsible for the applications in the Compliance Management domain. These are DMS, QMS and LMS workflow systems to support processes in the Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and other departments.
You will serve as the linking pin between the internal customer, the supplier and the IT department. This means that you are responsible for change and renewal of the compliance management applications according to the specifications of system/process owners. In addition, you advise the system and process owners, process experts and key users as well as implement configuration changes using a controlled and structured approach. Furthermore, your tasks will include training, guidance and support of key users (e.g. when testing changes) and you will act as second-line support for troubleshooting. You will report to the head of Information Technology.

Your profile

Your motivation letter and CV should show that you have:

  • A bachelor’s (hbo) degree in (Applied) Computer Science or Business Management
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in application management, functional support or other relevant experience
  • Knowledge of document and/or quality management systems (preferably eDoc, Trackwise, or similar systems)
  • Experience in managing complex projects via methods such as Prince2
  • An excellent command of the English language
  • Experience with computer system validation is a strong advantage.

In interviews you will be able to demonstrate that you have adequate analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. You are able to look at things from a process perspective and you can easily translate customer requirements into effective solutions. You are also results-oriented, eager to learn and able to work and coordinate activities independently. In addition, you are able to quickly build and maintain relationships with your colleagues and your internal customers.
