Job profile

Our Information Technology department is looking for a full-time medior system engineer. The department deals with IT systems and technologies used by the Synthon Biopharmaceuticals organization. Within the team you will be responsible for the installation and management of servers and for analyzing and solving problems related to the IT infrastructure. We also expect you to support our Service Desk colleagues in solving technical problems.

In addition, you will fulfill an executive and coordinating role in the deployment of software installations and upgrades. Experience in working within a regulated environment (GAMP/GxP) and experience with validating systems is a plus. You will report to the IT head.

Your profile

Your motivation letter and CV should show that you have:

  • You work and think at an MBO level and you have at least 5 years work experience in an IT service management position
  • You have current MCSA/MCITP certificates or partial certificates
  • You have knowledge of several operating systems (Windows, Citrix)
  • You have thorough knowledge of network infrastructures, preferable based on CISCO
  • Preferably you have experience with monitoring systems
  • You have a good command of the English language both in writing and speaking.

You are a team player and you have a practical, hands-on attitude. With a pragmatic approach you quickly and adequately solve technical issues. You are clear in your explanation and you are able to communicate at different levels; with colleagues within the department as well as internal and external customers. In addition, you have a well-developed sense of responsibility which means that your workday is not limited from 9 to 5. Even under high pressure, you show decisiveness without losing sight of details.
