Véronique Stals has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role Mrs Stals will further develop and professionalise Synthon’s global HR function and drive its people and talent strategy to ensure that Synthon remains an Employer of Choice and a great place to work. Mrs Stals joins Synthon from Sanofi where she was VP HR of Primary Care and held various senior leadership positions in Latin America, Middle East and at the head office in Paris. Prior to that Mrs Stals gained extensive experience across many industries, including aviation, financial services, consulting and manufacturing, where she led HR strategies and implemented programs to drive business impact.
John McCullough has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer. Mr McCullough is a very experienced industry executive and has a successful track record in leading commercial operations and their supporting functions in a global arena to grow the commercial success of entities and their customers. Whilst being focused on commercial John’s experience working hand in hand with manufacturing, technical operations, supply chain, legal and regulatory delivers synergies across the board. John has held executive positions in Medreich and Teva, as well as other senior positions in Wyeth and Napp Pharmaceuticals and has over 25 years industry experience.
