Synthon chooses Kuehne+Nagel to expand its distribution services in Chile
Specialized storage and distribution services for health care products is what Synthon, one of the leading transnational companies in the pharmaceutical products sector, officially launched in June, together with Kuehne+Nagel, a global company specialized in logistics. , whom they chose to strengthen and expand their business in Chile where they will distribute more than 400,000 units per year.
In Santiago, Kuehne+Nagel has a modern Distribution Center specialized in the Healthcare industry, located in Pudahuel. This center has the capacity to handle pharmaceutical, nutritional and cosmetic products, and is equipped with a Quality Control Laboratory and a Packaging Laboratory. In addition, it allows storage at a controlled temperature of 15 to 25°C thanks to a geothermal system that guarantees greater energy efficiency.
Synthon's inventory is expected to reach 2,500 pallet locations, allowing it to distribute more than 400,000 units per year to its main clients, such as the Supply Center of the National Health Services System (Cenabast), pharmaceutical chains and hospitals throughout from the country.
